I can tell you that with the Thincom modem, NetZero does NOT work. The banner ads eat up too much of the memory. Don't know if this happens with the Handspring modem too, but I would suspect it does.
On the other hand, Juno is supposed to work without a hitch.
Word of warning, though --With a free ISP, the username and password that you type in are not the same that the ISP uses. Once you enter your username and password, the ISP will encrypt it and use the encrypted version. To use a Visor modem with a free ISP you have to enter the *encrypted* version manually. You need a program called RASSPY to find out the encrypted version of your username.
