Did you get the deluxe? If so what's the leather case like. How about posting a pic of your Visor in the case?

Thanks

Well, Rich, between you and David, along with the fine folks here at VC, you've gone miles beyond the dinky web support at HS, IMHO.

Oh, and regarding the leather case/pouch with the Deluxe. It's fine, such as it is, and well made. It makes a fine temporary home for my VDx until I can find a more functional case (one with a padded bay for springboards, methinks).

Thanks for the compliments

If someone wants to send me a few pictures of the leather case I'll throw them on the site as well (email to [email protected]).

JerryBme,

Happy to oblige.

I've taken a shot of the case and sent it to Rich. It's not much to look at, just a simple black case, elastic on the sides, reasonably padded.

Great pictures guys. While we're at it how about a picture of the horrible styli everyone's complaining about?

Wink

Goodkray,

If you thought the slipcase wasn't much to look at, wait till you get a look at the styli. Not fancy, but fully functional.

A friend of mine says it's better than - or at least as good as - the styli that came with his Palm Pro.

I've sent a picture of it, along with some pictures of the cradle, to Rich for posting to his web site.

Dave.

hiya!
i'm from Singapore, my pal in CA
purchased 2 Visor dlxs for me 2 weeks ago.
this site is great, and nothing beats
seeing pix of my (soon-to-arrive)
blue visor
it makes a lot of difference especially
when i've never seen or held the real thing
keep it up, i do hope we'll get our visors real soon.... [ the thought of being the first few Singaporeans to own one thrills me to bits..heheh ]
cheers!

With the paperclip in the springboard slot, is there any chance that it could get to the contacts and short them out?

That would really suck...

Hey Donser.. Not only will you be one of the first people in Singapore to get a Visor, but the first in the world as well since the rest of us haven't seen one.

If you're getting it sent to you by a third party, you had better hope they ship a bit better than Handspring has.

Cool

superfreak,

No chance at all. I wouldn't have put it in there if there was any danger. The SpringBoard cover is shaped like a small tray, flat bottom, 4 sides. The part of the Visor "above" the "tray" is solid plastic.

Excellent pictures!! Thanks for giving me that fix until my visor arrives. Here is the link again so recent viewers of this thread can reach it without having to scroll back up again. http://mayhem.res.cmu.edu/~cheese/visor.html

Cool

Even though the color does seem to be slightly different than what we were seeing earlier (and I know that the flash on the camera will make it look even more transparent than normal lighting), I still think it looks mighty fine.

Can I have it?
