Hi Lee3--
By design, the Palm Desktop application is a "single user" access-only program-- that is, only one person at a time, can access their Palm desktop data information. So, out of the box, you can't do it.
For what you want to accomplish, you'll need additional software (or a combination of software and Internet access) to share data across multiple Palm devices. Mark's suggestion of wesync.com is a good one-- if you have a near-constant or constant Internet connection.
If you do not or chose not to have a full-time internet connection, the "solution" will get a tad expensive and elaborate. I'll describe one here:
- You would need to replace the Palm Desktop software with one that supports multiple users. Outlook 97/98/2000 is one such desktop product.
- You would need to replace the internal DateBook application with one that supports multiple catetories (DateBk3 and DateBk4 does but DateBook+ does not).
- You would need to use PocketMirror 3.0 (which is not supplied with your Visor-- a 2.0.4 version I believe is what is burned on the CD). PocketMirror 3.0 allows sync'ing to multiple Outlook calendars. The in-depth How-To can be found here on Chapura's support site.
It pretty much comes down to the lesser of two evils.
