Well, I had only had my Visor for a little more than two weeks, when I accidently dropped it a few days ago. When I picked it up and looked at the screen, I saw that it was cracked in a few places near the top. I played with it a little and noticed that although the LCD screen was in perfect shape, the touch sensitive glass that covered it was very messed up. The Visor would recognize my tapping with the stylus, but would keep coming up with the "adjust contrast" thing or something else I didn't want.
I figured that it would be almost impossible to get the screen fixed, (and I called up a few computer repair shops just to make sure) and I was almost ready to just go out and get a Palm Pilot..but I figured I might as well call Handspring. The very confusing and unknowledgable coustomer service guy said that they would send someone to pick up my broken Visor (yeah right...) and would send me a new one in 4 business days. I doubt if that's the truth, but I guess I am willing to wait a few days.
Has anyone else been clumsy enough to break their screen already?
