No, but similar experience
No, I do not have the visor phone, but I did have a similar experience with HS tech help. They wanted a credit card number before they would help me diagnose why my digitizer went on the fritz. I was certain that it would need repair so I was not very excited about giving them a credit card number. We were at a stand still. I figured, it's a work-owned PDA, I'll just get a new one. But if my wife's Deluxe ever needs tech help, I'll try to be patient instead and write an email to their their tech help folks. What I did get from the tech help representative was that email tech help is still free - just not interactive.
