Angry Visor Edge Fault

My Visor Edge screen faded out completely after onlu 3 months.
It was not broken or scratched, just faded out "died".
Should i be stupid enough to pat $280 to replace the screen ?
I purchased it for $395...!

WOAH!!!!!
You should call tech support, and demand a free replacment.
that shouldnt happen to any product.
I am telling you shouldnt, dont, and i will hit you with a stick if you pay for a new screen.
Call them this very minute and try to be nice. tell them to replace it for free.

Good luck.

Not when the Edge itself is currently selling for $249

They came back to me by phone and offered me another deal:
To replace the faulty screen for $180 + Vat.
I still don't think i will agree !

Wow i think that is very shady!!!
Dont do it, I would go smack someone at Handspring!
I think that is so wrong, HS customer support has always rocked.
thats the reason i stick with HS. Its a customer freindly Firm. Plus they do alot of good things with charity.(PR)

They owe you a functional unit. NO charge. Unfortunately, you'll at least have to pay $25 to get a refurb before sending yours in.

I read thoroughly the Handspring Co. Customer Support page but could't find any Email address to write to, only Phone no.'s.
Can somebody help me ?

Try [email protected] or [email protected] or you can use their webform. They removed the posted email addresses a while back for whatever reason, so I'm not sure if those email addresses will get to someone in a timely manner. The webform might be your best bet.
