Re: VisorPhone can ring out of the Visor

However you cannot take a call. There is no microphone on the Energy Clip and the "take a call" button does not operate while on the energy clip.
To get this to work, you have to cut one side of the plastic from the Energy clip this way you can insert the VisorPhone in it and switch it on.
I guess I would have to see the Energy Clip to understand fully how it operates. One thing I want to get out into the open, I don't own a VisorPhone. That said, I was under the impression that the VisorPhone has its own battery power, not powered by the Visor at all...or is the Energy Clip not really a source of "Energy" per say, rather a source of LIFE outside the Visor? (this is getting way too deep, and it is getting late).
Next question...with the Energy clip, would you be able to place the phone module in the Visor to use it. My biggest gripe right now with the VisorPhone is that I am used to having my cell phone on 24/7. What I want is a way to do this, without pledging my Platinum to full service as a dedicated cell phone.
If there was a way to get the phone to ring/vibrate (not necessarily connect the call), then from there, be able to install it into the Springboard slot, and from there answer the call....I think that would be the best of both worlds... Yes, it is fun to have a phone in one unit...but it would also be nice to be able to use GPS (or anything for that matter) and still be able to know someone is calling/and be able to take that call almost instantly.
Thanks again,
Sam
