With enthusiasm, I purchased the MatchBook CF Flash Adapter ($32) and FAFileMover ($10). Where is a good place to purchase/browse CF cards? I live in Minneapolis/StPaul (Minnesota). Thanks.

When I've looked for memory cards they've been significantly cheaper online than in local stores (CompUSA, Best Buy, Target). Any online retailer you trust should have a good selection.

If you're not averse to online auctions, some great deals can be had on Ebay if you are patient and search hard enough. I picked up a 64MB SanDisk three months ago for under $100. And smaller capacity cards (<16MB) are often very cheap since many people unload them when they upgrade their digital cameras to high capacity cards.

Before you buy anything, be sure to check the compatibility database. The live version is in the matchbookdrive-forum on Yahoo Groups. For those averse to Yahoo, there is a snapshot of the database at http://kopsisengineering.com/cf_compat.html

Cool Somehow the MatchBookDrive looks kinda cheap.......Why didn't any1 talk about this 1?

Expansys offers another adapter looks much more proper than the Matchbookdrive's DIY look,

and it's about the same price, why hasn't any1 said anything about it? =) I also don't like the way CF cards sticks out in that MatchBookDrive, hopefully this one would hold the card in place like it supposed to. =)

There is a thread on this adapter currently going. James, can you point a link to the thread regarding CF cards?

Thanks,
