Smile

Uses:

- PIM (DateBk4)
- Typing papers and articles at Work (no good Word Processing software on the Solaris machines)
- Games, games, games - due to the limited amount of memory on the laptop I am borrowing for the summer, I have only been playing games on the Visor)
- Alarm clock (got to love BigClock)
- Checking my email before I go to work
- AvantGo (better than the morning paper)
- Datebases (I keep track of volcanic and tectonic activity on Io using ThinkDB)
- E-books
- keeping track of finances with PocketQuicken 2.01

I think thats about it

I once used my prism as a light when i was in a dark room and couldnt find the light switch. I like to use my visor with eyemodule 2 to take pictures of people who dont like to get their picture taken. Games, memos to keep track of dvds I order from columbiahouse, I use it to send ringtones and logos to my nokia 8290, an alarm clock, a place to see my work schedule, avantgo to read web pages when im not at the computer. And I have some pictures on there. Plus I use it as an excuse to post on these wonderful boards.

You need the programs Monkey Logo and MonkeyTone.

http://www.primatesys.com

THe programs cost money but when I consider Voicestream charges a buck a tone and I have 100's of tones saved on the palm already and have have access to 100's more via tone converter I saved my self a bunch.

Cool Mmm, my favoirte apps...

Well... *boom* The comp my brother's working on just blew it's top... but now for something the completely the same.

CSpotRun, FAFileMover & VFS Helper, Mail+, QEd, WordSmith, X-Master, and my keyboard are most used... almost none of them are registered (oh yeah, PrefEd too )

After building my very own Flash Adapter (I'm such a geek!) I immedietly bought a 32mb Sandisk CF card and drooled... I an do anything! Finally, AvantGo is a viable option for a 2mb visor!

The hacks I use are: Afterburner, BackLightHack, Ben's Menus, Crash, EasyLaunch, LauncherIIIHack (usful for VFS) and McPhiling. All this on an 8mb Visor DLx.

Well, I just found a new use for my Prism. I was out to dinner at a neighborhood restaurant (where I am friends with both the owner & staff). All of a sudden the entire neighborhood loses power. My Prism became the light for the wait staff to total the customer's checks and the calculator to figure out sales tax, etc.

At least I got free drinks and dinner for the use of my "light".
