Actually, I haven't heard any details myself. I'll shoot an email off to Zee at FlipCover.com and see what he says (he might even chime in here). I know they wanted to pursue the adapter as it is almost a necessity for those using modules.

Adapter for FlashPlus users?

I've quit using mine now that I've got a FlashPlus card. I don't know if an adapter will work with it either. The CF card slot on the top prevents attaching an adapter. I _suppose_ I could attach an adapter, but then I'd be stuck using just the one CF card.

I'm assuming you've heard nothing?

Unhappy Is it dead?

Two more months gone by, no news, no word, no new clip.

I guess it's time to consider it a dead-end and move on to something else.

I sent Zee another email and asked him to stop by, say "hello", and give us an update.

And over 3 months later, can we assume that Zee no longer gives a damn?

Well, I know I am stepping into the battle a little late...but atleast this will put it near the top of the list.

I just ordered my Blue FlipCover Tuesday, after hearing about it on this thread. I have a Blue VDX. My brother placed his order at the same time for an ice cover for his Blue Neo.

First off, these things are great! It's also good that someone is still over there since the order went through.

My only complaint is they should sell a flipcover with an Ice Springboard Slot, and a colored hinge and cover. The blue Springboard Slot looks odd on my Ice back of the VDX. Otherwise, I love this thing!

Well, I'm giving up on this company. I sent the hinge in for a warranty replacement, and I have yet to receive it. Mind you, I live exactly *one* town over from its mailing address, and I haven't received, nor heard a peep from them in over a week - ditto for the email I sent them enquiring about my replacement.

I will thank them for one thing - not having a working flipcover has prompted me to look at newer, better products.

The design is flawed - the plastic hinges break very easily, and they will not honor their warranty.

Caveat emptor.

- Tae
