Hypothetically speaking, or wait, maybe not...
Is there a way that I can get my Visor to automatically sync, say, at 7:30 AM before I leave for classes? And if so, does my PC need to be on?

There is an app called, appropriately, AutoSync which will do what you want. The pc must be on for this to work. Autosync comes with BackupBuddy which is worth every penny.

I had an identical problem. If you have a Windows PC, I can tell you how to make it turn on automatically every morning.

When you boot up, enter the BIOS settings. There, you find a setting to turn it on every morning. That has worked fine for me, but autosync hasn't. I set it, but since it tries to sync every 8 hours, it's stuck telling me it couldn't sync overnight, therefor, not able to sync. I end up having to press the button on the cradle. No biggie.

Also, your visor would have to be in its cradle all night, supposedly causing battery drain. I haven't noticed any additional drain, though.

FYI... Not all BIOS have this feature. Many older BIOS didn't have a power-on feature built in.

Yes, the battery problem is still alive. They hit rechargeables especially hard
