No, I'm being logical. Contrary to your apparent belief, logic does not exist in a vacuum. One does not simply input any wild fantasy into a logic generator and come out with a solid answer. One must first evaluate the premises upon which the logic is based. If there is no valid reason to believe the premises are true, then one's logical conclusions are so much mental masturbation, full of sound and fury, and in the end, signifying nothing.quote: I post something to ask if anyone else had heard anything about it and I end up with this response. I give up. You posted a question. You then stated that you thought that if your premise had not been discredited, you'd have thought that it would have been big news. If it had not been discredited, it probably _would_ have been big news (I had never even heard the original theory, hence my question). It was not big news, though, so it stands to reason that it was discredited, and the news report which you found showed that it was discredited at the same time the report was written. It's strange that you're taking offense to this considering that you're a being of logic, reason, and science.
