Matchbook Drive Question...

Each time I insert my matchbook drive MD-001 into my visor, it resets...is this a known error that can be fixed?

Is there a way to categorize apps that are already in the card, instead of having to remove them and copy them back in another directory in FAFileMover?

How do you get CSpotRun to recognize the docs that are on the card?

Other than these questions, the MBDrive is great! For the price I got it and the card at, it was a great deal! ($5 for the adapter from ashmed on the board, and CompUSA has a 64mb CF card on sale this week for $19.99)

First off, make sure you're running version 2.1.0 or later of the FlashAdapter software. If you are, then it's probably a conflict with a hack or other OS extension or third-party launcher. Try systematically disabling those things and you'll probably find one that is the source of the conflict. Let me know what you find and I may be able to propose a work-around.

I am running 2.1.1-K. With all Hacks Deactivated, it goes to preferences instead of resetting. I limited the problem to SwitchHack (which I can't live without! )

I downloaded the Kopsis Software Classic bundle yesterday using a e-mail/password provided by the original owner. CSpotRunPI.prc was not included in the Zip file. However, FACSpotRunPI.prc was and this appeared to make the difference. I must of overlooked it when originally installing the programs.

One more question: If I get a card reader for my computer, can I put .pdb and .pdc files directly onto the card, and read them on my visor? It would save the transfer time.

well, I currently have a desktop, with a laptop connected to it via a home network. The desktop has no PCMIA slot but the laptop does... what I would probably end up doing is plugging the adaptor into the laptop and using the desktop to download the files, save it on the laptop hard drive, and then transfer to the adaptor.

I might not have a laptop when I go to college, but if not, I can hopefully find an open bay on the PC I will get and get one...
