-- Yada Yada back online (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=14539)
Just got a letter from Yada Yada stating that they are back up and running. This sounds like the most official statement yet.
"Dear DAN,
We really thank you for being a loyal customer of YadaYada and bearing with us during some of the turbulent service conditions. The rumors of our death are unfounded and while YadaYada is reorganizing to add corporate products, your service will not be interrupted. YadaYada will continue to provide you the highest quality service during the transition and in the future.

Sincerely,
Your Friends at YadaYada"

I've been offline for a month or so. I traveled down the I-5 corridor from Seattle to LA and back and never could get a login during a recent trip. They were no longer charging for the service and since there wasn't a service available for me, it wasn't a big deal. I hope that if they are back online that they don't go and bill for April while they were in limbo.

Well, it's not a Seattle problem anyway. I'm on now, with no problems here in the Emerald City.
Doin' fine in Dallas too...
According to Eric at YadaYada, it was a issue with them and AT&T.
After the problem was resolved, anyone affected would need to have their IP address reset by YadaYada. They could reset everyone at once but each user would have had to use the modem within a 3 hour time period.
Eric said he was resetting about 150 people a day.
I had mine done yesterday and it is working fine now.

It's not always an AT&T problem. I have Verizon in L.A. and Eric had to reset my IP because "somebody else" gave my IP address to another user.
