SMS cingular fatal error

I have a visor phone using a Handspring pro. I have had no problems until the other day. I recieved a SMS from Cingular asking to leave my phone on to update the sim. I did as told. Now when ever I try to access the SMS I recieve the following fatal error:MemoryManager.c,Line:4359,

And if someone SMS's me the same error!
This is very inconvienient. Siunce everything is dead t'ill I find out that I crashed! What can I do to correct this problem? Anyone else have this problem?

According to my Cingular people, if you get errors on your phone, take out the battery WHILE THE PHONE IS ON. Wait a few seconds and then replace the battery and turn on the phone. That should serve as a phone re-boot.

I appreciate your help. Unfortunately it did not work. Cingular has been ignoring me and handpsring wants me to call on their $19.95 line, after giving me the hardset solution for the pro.

What was the Visor Pro solution?

Just got a similar fatal error (different phone company) with my Visor Pro. I reset and was asked if I wanted to download the message from the SIM card - but then got an error that the message could not be decoded. Did you get a Visor Pro solution to your problem?
