Posts being marked read
There are two situations where the flag indicates that posts have been read, where I wish it weren't.
The first is if you've been in the discussion area for awhile. For example, I just finished writing a long, boring, rambling reply in a thread. When I went left that thread and went back out to the discussions, all the little envelopes were now closed.
Second, is once you've gone into the "read new posts" area, but don't have the opportunity to read them all. Doesn't matter. Once you've logged in and then left, the software assumes you've read everything.
Don't know if any of this is within your control, but sure wish it were different.
Also, is there a way to "cancel" once you've started writing a post/reply but changed your mind? All I see are "submit," "preview" and "spellcheck."
I wholeheartedly concur with the two requested changes, if possible.
Re: cancelling post
I just hit the back button.
The same thing has been bugging me, too.
As for the CANCEL button...you don't need one...just don't post the reply you wrote.
