I think only registered Users of Visorcentral should be able to post reviews on products in the review section. I see too much anonymous folks rating products. We need more accountability. The way it is now, any Joe Blo acan come to VC and leave a negative rating on a product and leave.

I'm not sure that's a bad thing... as long as the commentary is legitimate. And what about positive reviews... should they be allowed only from members as well?

yardi,

To help reduce some of the BS in the user reviews, the new version of VisorCentral requires discussion registration to post user opinions.

I love it when people post a review and they have never even seen or used the product in question.. (only what they think based on things they have read).. I think it should only be from actual owners/users of the product.. (this happens on many other sites too..)

If they want to post a comment with out actually owning or using the thing in question, post it on the discussion boards..

I agree 100%. how can you review something you have never seen or use? It is liek a movie critic reviewing a movie based on its trailer.
