Question Connect Prism or Visor Deluxe to Routers, Switches, Etc?

Has anyone out there been succesfull in connecting a Visor to a serial console port on a switch or router? If so where did you get the cable? I have a deluxe and prism and have had no luck finding the cable(s) that I need. I would like to use my visors as a terminal instead of a laptop. Mark Space doesn't seem to be producing cables for the visor anymore.

I got mine from markspace.com.

If that doesn't work, there's plans on the net for "build your own" cables using Maxim's MAX232 chip to boost the voltage.

You may also be able to get somewhere with the ATL hotsync cable... http://www.atlconnect.com/thirdpart.../connectors.htm

A regular HotSync cable won't work without a Null Modem adapter.

I bought a folding serial cradle from CompUsa for use with my Visor. The Null Modem adapter is still needed but it works fine.

Well, yeh, but if you're plugging it into a Cisco switch that's the least of your worries.

OK, I'll bite. What are the other more troubling worries?
