I just went to their website and downloaded the new software. Will post my experience after I install it.

Well, it updated the PC conduits. When I tried to install the update on my Prism, it said the software on the module was newer than the update. It showed update version 1.12 and module version 1.11 and would not let me update. Long wait for nothing. I wish YadaYada would just go back to the old version and rename it 1.14 or something so we could go back to not having everything load into our precious memory space.

Same thing here. Seriously annoying.

Talking You can install the new update

I was determined to install the new 1.12 update, so I found out a way to make it so.

When you attempt to install it, the program will say that the module version is higher.

Well, you can "force" install it by holding the down button and pressing install on the screen. (it's it's not the down button, it's the up button)

It will work as I've done it twice already.

I didn't notice much difference in the program...my VDX still crashes after MOST Minstrel S shutdowns.

Good luck!

Does it still install the YadaYada software on the Visor if you delete it? That's what I don't like.

Yes, the new version does install that YY desktop on the Visor. I did notice that the Yada Yada animated screens were no longer there on this new 1.12 update. I guess the complaining worked!

Now when I pop in my Minstrel S, the first screen that comes up is the YY desktop program. The first thing I do is push the home button to get out of it. It's a little annoying, but it's not too bad.
