I am very happy to say that I, along with 60 some others, won prizes in the Visorcentral Countdown to Christmas contest. I still have not received my conformation e-mail, nor has most people I chat with. Has anyone received their e-mail?

Why I am in such a hurry, is that I am leaving tonight on a trip and will not be back till the 8th of Jan. I understand that I have to reply to the e-mail in order to claim my prize (voice recorder).

I will not be able to check my e-mail while I am gone...so I am starting to get worried.

If anyone from the Visorcentral staff reads this, please pass this message along to who ever is in charge of the Contest.

Okay... I wasn't a winner.

However having said that, I wanna congratulate the folks at VisorCentral for coming up with such a clever way to promote the site. There were a couple of days here and there that I missed, but for the most part I was pretty religious about coming here every morning to answer the trivia question. And of course, if I didn't know the answer, I went to look it up (which is exactly what they wanted us to do, so we would learn about the products).

I remember once back when the California Avocado Board had a silly giveaway at its Web site some years ago. It gave away avocado mousepads every single day to three random contestants who'd answered all of their trivia questions correctly. I went to that stupid Web site for three months before I finally got one, but darnit if I don't know a lot avocados. (Oh, and I still use the mousepad.) Heh.

Our staff will be going through the winner list this weekend, matching usernames with address, and we will start notifying winners of the shipment status early next week.
