Visor Phone problems

I've used my VisorPhone on my Visor Deluxe for almost 2 years now, and it's been great.

However, lately the phone powers off by itself for no apparent reason. The battery has plenty of power, and there's no unusual activity. When I power it back on, it cuts off again after a few minutes. The worst is when it cuts off during a phone conversation.

I also noticed that it cuts off most often between 2pm-6pm (central time). I don't know if this info is relevant, but it's a strange coincidence if anything.

Anyone know about this issue? Any info would be great.

Usually the only time my VisorPhone has turned itself off is when it has not been able to connect to the network for an extended period of time. You could try reseting your Visor and/or removing the VisorPhone battery for 10-15 seconds.

i applied the firmware update recently and now my vphone has also started turning itself off. anyone else experiencing this?

well i can verify that my vp does turn off by itself constantly. this is pretty annoying. i may have to go treo now...
