Visor Phone Updater

I've looked on Handspring's site, but can't seem to find the VP 1.0 to 1.1 firmware updater. Anyone know the url? Searching doesn't find it, neither does looking at the list of software downloads.

what firmware updater? i only see a software update to enable 3rd party SMS messages. is that what you guys are talking about?

It updates the firmware and software on the visorphone. It actually fixed a constant roaming indiacation on mine when I first got it.

you have to run the app after it is installed on the visor with the phone attached to apply the ROM flash. when you check the "about" screen you will see 1.01 instead of 1.0. i was baffled about this update because i ran the installation which installed the app but i did not see it and i did not see a change in the ROM version in the "about" screen. i found it after a few days and ran it successfully. same precautions for running any kind of flash update. make sure you have fresh batteries both on vp and visor and do not interrupt!
