That's the way it's supposed to be. It's supposed to have code, with little red expander contractor things. IF it does, IT wors, It works fine for me in IE 5.5 so..

Given the structured nature of XML, you can do a variety of things with it .. you could, for example, setup a database that would read that page and add new records into the database .. you could create an XML Stylesheet (XSLT) and have it basically churn the XML data into a legiable pseudo-HTML document ..

I think one of the biggest reasons for using XML in this fashion is so people can access and manipulate data over the web without having direct access to the backend database structure/format/etc... In this regard, it provides the raw data of what is already formatted in the Javascript feed so you could ultimately reformat the information in any way you see fit for your use.

I think I'm starting to understand this... I can take the XML feed, parse it according to the known tags, and then use the content, for example, on my own web page... interesting concept.

You learn something new everyday... (and they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks!)

Old dog? Mark your under 50, anyways it's your B-day today..

THe biggest thing about XML is is that it only controls content. So the same source document could be used o na Visor, or a PC. It's the parsers that do all the work. VERY COOL.
