Got my Xircom Global Access Module and their GSM connecting kit. Installed some PQAs, connected the Xircom to my Nokia 6190 and VOILA! Online!

Worked like a charm! Even the supplied "Multimail" did its job without a whimper.

The other wireless solutions available don't really work for me because:

a) YY and OS use the same CPCD provider in my area (Studio City, CA) and I don't like the coverage there.

b) I'm not online often enough to justify the monthly charge for a "third party" service. I already *have* an ISP and this way I can use them without additional hassles.

I'm beginning to look at my Palm Vx as a fond memory.
