Now they're giving the *&$%# thing away. Just got this from HS:

Now when you buy any Visor handheld and activate a service plan, we'll give you a VisorPhone for FREE!

I wonder if this is really an indication that a new HS device IS coming out soon with wireless capabilities. Otherwise why give the VP away?????????

I think you are right. Wireless IS what Handspring has stated they will focus on. All the indicators point to a new model. Lowering price of Visor Phone. Lowering prices of Visor models. Giving away VisorPhone.

One can only hope it will be a sleek color model with wireless capabilities built in.

Ya gotta give to them for being cool about it.

I just bought two like that within the last month.
It was the $50 VPhone that pushed me over edge
(no punn intended) and I got one for the wife too.

I just called HS and asked, and they've give me
a $100 credit back now.

They did the same on the VDX price drop too,
so I've now saved $140 off that purchase.

Of course, if the new VPhone is bluetooth enabled
for a bluetooth headset, I'll have to spend it again...

Are you sure that they give you back refund? Who in the Handspring allow this? No wonder Handspring revenue is slipping after all these price slash and free giveaway to keep us the happy customer.
