Cingular setting up a GSM net

Hi folks,

just read in a short note on a german newspaper that Cingular is setting up a GSM net thru the whole US. Looks like our two countries are getting a little bit closer together.
And we do not have to worry about 900/1800/1900 frequencies with different phones. Yipeee

Last week, I e-mailed Cingular Wireless asking about GSM coverage in the US and they replied with:
