Making serial cable connection

Does anyone know how to create a serial connection between a Visor Deluxe (from either base or Springboard module, if one is available) and a standard RS-232 serial port? (In a university environment, there are DB-25 serial connections at empty desk carrels that allow users of notebooks to use a standard serial cable to connection to this serial connection.)

I've heard that Handspring didn't put in a power pin-out thus serial connections are tricky. Any commercial cable solutions out there? Thanks, in advance.

www.mark-space.com does make cables that do this. Good stuff
