Report this post to a moderator
Hey, this new v3 is ok (I'm not wild about change, or the recent trend of blue websites), but, I don't like this one new feature. "Report this post to a moderator". I don't like that. It says, "Bad things happen a lot, and we need babysitters on call to make sure they don't."
Well, bad things don't happen a lot, instead of feeling like a community, it feels like a debate. It feels like moderators are just waiting to stop some bad boy.
And worst of all, it takes up extra space.

I agree
This direct link is not needed. There have been few problems on VisorCentral, and the moderators have delt with those fine. If you are going to make a direct link to something on every post, make it something useful and positive.

I'm not familiar with vBulletin, but it might be possible that the 'Report this post to a Moderator' link is part of the vBulletin default configuration.
Either way, I don't think it's a big deal... I hadn't even noticed it, and it took me a minute to find when I first read this post. Bernie is right... flamewars and inappropriate posts don't usually happen here, which is why the link doesn't seem like a big deal to me.
Just my own $0.02

Report linked removed... And yes, it was activated by default when we reinstalled the discussion board software.
