-- Organize wireless section better (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=11285)
Calling any admins / sysops / facilitators,
Hot topics in the Wireless section lately seem to be the OmniSky / YadaYada / VisorPhone debates. Could the admins of this site do something to organize the debate? I see repeated questions in different threads. Handspring's "brick wall" public relations policy makes it hard enough to use the product. These forums are suppoused to ameliorate that. Multiple threads on the same topics subvert that goal. I propose the following sections:
Wireless: Yada Yada
Wireless: OmniSky
Wireless: VisorPhone
Wireless: Cable links
Wireless: Headphones
Wireless: Other
Admins should move relevant posts to the appropriate sections. Obviously a post that compares Yada Yada to OmniSky could be in either forum.
-- In favor of more command and control
I have found that if BB have too many catagoires, they get very confusing, and attendance starts to drop. I think that by adding catagories, many of the topic starters will not know where to post the topics, and the board will get even more confusing.
BEN
Yeah having too many topics is a bad idea (and so is too many "big" words in one post
) I thinks its fine the way it is.

Ack! I have enough trouble policing the General forums for things that are in the wrong place.
As long as people have useful subjects -- "YY doesn't work in my bathroom" instead of "Dude this sucks!" the thread will be useful.

Ok, ok, ok. 3 strikes and I'm out. I see now, it was a bad idea. Should we snip/close this thread?
