Voicestream and SIM card questions
Greetings all,
This question goes out to anyone who uses the VisorPhone w/ VoiceStream in the NYC area.
Do any of you ever switch the SIM card in your VisorPhone into another GSM capable phone? If so, how easy is the process? Which phone do you guys recommend, and how much would it cost to buy if you already have the Get More plan?
You see, I'm looking to buy a dedicated phone to bring along on occassions where it wouldn't be practical or fashionable to tote my bulky Prism/VisorPhone combo. The smaller the phone, the better.
Thanks in advance,

Well, I've done it the other way around. That is, I've put the SIM card from my previous VoiceStream phone into my VisorPhone and was able to use that other account on the VPhone.
I think you just have to make sure your cell phone number is registered on the SIM card. (That's been discussed in other threads here.)
And sorry for the shameless plug, but as I matter of fact, I'm trying to sell that phone right now, at:

This is not the most compact option available (the Nokia 8290 is probably the winner there) but it's not bad, and certainly more affordable. (Especially if you're trying to buy one without a contract.)
