Tell me who posted please
Hey all, I've finally taken the time to request a change to the forums. When you're on the front page of the forums, at the far right, it tells you who the last person that posted in that forum was. Well, that doesn't help me when I actually get INTO that forum. When I'm scrolling through the topics that i have posted to, I click on a thread only if there is a name newer than mine on it. The 2nd level forum listing does not give you this.
I would say that you could get rid of the "Rating" column as it is almost NEVER used. Currently in the "All Handhelds" forum, there are only 3 ratings out of 40 threads. Replace it with the name of the last person who posted in each thread.
thanks
I agree. That would be convenient. . .
BUT- It would be confusing, with there being two names right next to each other.

Maybe they could swap the last two columns. That way the person who posted is always at the other end of the page.
www.sitepointforums.com does it this way and it is very handy to use as a reference.
I would find that feature useful.

(I'm probably in the bottom third of the class and I think I could figure it out.)

Id est, we're smart enough to figure it out.
No, I guess it would not be that difficult.__________________
