-- Echo using Visorphone (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=14566)
I tried the Visorphone v1.0 out in December 2000. I returned the Visorphone because the people who called my kept reporting hearing an echo when they talked to me.
I tried 4 different headsets but still had the echo.
Is the Visorphone still at v1.0 and are other people having problems with echo?
I've never had that problem.
It is still at 1.0

I have the echo, it's annoying
Glad somebody else mentioned this. My phone mates report an echo as well, but only for the person using the VisorPhone. I did some experiments, and it appeared that it was only a problem when I used the phone in my E&B case. I'm still keeping the phone, but it's definitely an irritation I'd like fixed. Did you use an E&B case, or did you have an echo regardless?

The case I used was the Visorphone beltclip http://www.handspring.com/products/...jhtml?CATID=736
There are several people affected in the thread http://www.visorvillage.com/boards/...ssages/109.html at Visor Central.
I finally gave up and sent my phone back, SIGH. I definitely wanted to keep the phone, Handspring even sent me a replacement phone but still the echo. Most people did not clearly understand me as they were speaking because they heard their own conversation echoed back into their earpiece.
