Failing to make connection during hotsync...ideas?
Well, I got a reader for my new credit card last night and installed it on the computer. While doing so, I rearranged the USB plugs from devices into my USB hub. But now I can't hotsync. It simply says it cannot make a connection - says connection was lost, though it never even made a connection to start the hotsync. Then after this, I can't even open up the hotsync manager in the taskbar - it is frozen. Any ideas why this is happening. Surely it isn't just because I moved the USB plug from my cradle into a different port on the hub?
Could there be a conflict between my cradle and this new credit card reader?
Should I just try uninstalling and reinstalling hotsync manager?
Inquiring minds want to know...

I would uninstall and reinstall HotSync manager. I have had to do that a couple of times when it "hangs" on app installation. (Typically with apps that are self-installing, rather than ones that require you to double-click them to place them into HotSync list.) (Although I don't get an error message there, it just doesn't install the programs.)
Anyway, a fresh install may solve the problem.
