Digital Link - Restore Sprint PCS Network Connection
For Digital Link owners out there that have had the problem of not being able to make data calls to the Sprint PCS network after a hard reset on your Visor (Prism, in my case)...I stumbled upon a workaround...
FIRST, I would follow the procedures for setting up your data preferences on the Digital Link (pp. 30-32 in the User Guide)...
IF you still have the above problem, THEN you might try these steps:
1.) Make sure the Digital Link is powered on
2.) In the Applications Launcher, go to "Prefs"
3.) Select "Network" in the drop-down list in the upper right
4.) You should have "Sprint PCS" already loaded...tap on "Details" in the lower left
5.) In the "Details" window, tap on "Script..." in the lower right
6.) In my case, I found that there was a single line that read "End:"...tap on this line to get the drop-down, and select "Send"
7.) This should insert a line above the "End:" line labeled "Send:"
8.) Tap on "OK"
9.) Tap on "OK" again to exit the "Details" window
10.) Tap on "Connect"
This got me back onto the Sprint PCS network. I don't (yet) know why this works...perhaps some knowledgeable folks out there could clue me in...

Hi,
After a hard reset, I do the following:
Turn on Digital Link,
tap the system menu,
click on Options,
click on Data Preferences,
click on Load Data Configuration
After that, data applications work fine.
