Is it just me, or would anybody else rather the latest page of a multi-page topic load first, rather than page 1? I know it's not a big deal, but...

James, is this possible...it seems it would just be more convenient...thanks.

I'm not sure if that's possible with the UBB. Also, that wouldn't be of any benefit to new(er) members since they would probably miss the beginings of threads. What would make sense would be a page number link (like the one at the top and bottom of each multi-page topic) with the topic title that could take you to any specific page. Again, this is probably not possible with UBB.

What I do myself is make note of the page number of any current thread I'm interested in. Then I right-click the topic title, copy the shortcut, paste it into the address bar, and insert "-##" (where ## = page number) to the URL just in front of the ".html". For example, the URL for this thread is:

discussion.visorcentral.com/Forum5/HTML/000181.html

If it were multiple pages and I knew I wanted to go to page 3, the URL would become:


discussion.visorcentral.com/Forum5/HTML/000181-3.html

Kind of cumbersome and this ol' brain forgets most of the stuff it sees , but it does help me get to the end of multi-page threads.
