VisorPhone no longer recognized by Visor

Somtime yesterday my platinum stopped recognizing my VisorPhone. At first I thought it was low batteries, and recharged the VisorPhone overnight. I also replaced the Visor batteries witha fresh set. I also tried removing the visorPhone, SIM card and phone battery for a couple of hours, thinking I don't know what.

None of this seemed to make a difference. When I insert the VisorPhone it no longer seems to register as a Springboard modle. I can turn it on and off, but I the hardware buttons on the phone no longer open the dialer or SMS. Also, I noticed that the Phone, SMS and enhanced Address book applications are no longer loaded when teh module is inserted.

I am beginning to wonder if the VisorPhone has lost its programming.

Anyone have any other ideas of things to try, short of sending it back to Handspring (where it appears I have a several week wait for a replacement)?

Sounds like you have done all that tech will ask of you.I recieved a replacement VP in 24hr. Had to prepay the overnight shipping by visa card. $25.00
