Angry VisorPhone turns itself Off

I have had a VisorPhone for about a week, and for the most part it is doing well. However, I've noticed that there are times when I go to check it and it is Off. I didn't turn it off, and intended to have it on all day to catch incoming calls. The result is that I miss a call and get voicemail.
I've checked to make sure that the belt case I keep it in doesn't press down on the Phone On/Off button. Is there any other explanation for why it might be turning itself off at times?

The user guide doesnt say so but I think the phone shuts itself off to conserve the battery if it looses the signal for 15 or 20 min. The Sprint phone does the same but will turn back on when the signal is reaquired.

It turns itself off when it can't find a signal for a period of time (if you are in a basement, say) to save battery. This is normal, though might be somewhat of a nuisance.

Update your firmware

I had the same problem and I think I went away after I updated the firmware.

I said, It seems it fixed because it might be that voicestream got better in my area so no longer have that problem.
