Old omnisky modem and GoAmerica service

I was thinking of getting an Minstrel s that came with omnisky and I wanted to use goamerica service on it. Is that possible?

Does that old omniksy modem automatically install software on my visor that is from the old company omnisky?

How is the service and coverage of GoAmerica?
