Visorphone + Sport Case = Silence (NG)

Overall, I am very happy with the VIsorPhone (and Edge). The Sport Case (neoprene) is also very nice -- very protective of the whole package, yet with the appropriate configuration for the VisorPhone module (a place for the antenna to stick out, for example).

However, even without the Sport Case, I have found that the bell/ringer (incoming phone call) just does not work. Yes, if you are sitting at home or at work and the Visor is lying on your desk, then it works. But if you are in a car or bus, on the street or almost anywhere out in public, you will not hear the bell.

My latest idea is to turn on the vibrator and to tuck the whole thing (case included) under my belt (between my belt and my skin!). I know the bell will be useless, but I am hoping the vibrator is in a good enough position relative to my body that I will feel it when it vibrates.

I have discovered that the ringer does _not_ work through the headset supplied by Handspring -- so if you keep the earbud embedded, you will still not hear the ringer.

Has anyone found a solution to this? Is there a third-party product (or program) that might help?

Thanks

I got the handspring sport case and I hardly notice that changes in ringtone. I can hear it fine. I usually have it on my belt so Vibrate always alert my calls.
