Minstrel S Lithium Battery Problems

The lithium battery in my Minstrel S Modem currently holds a charge for only a short time. Earthlink "suggests" that I sign up for another year of service (too much $$) in order to receive a new modem. The battery can be removed; anyone know where I can get a replacement?
