Authentication error - Solved

Looks like ive come up with the solution - NTL only allow connection if the call has been routed through their cable network.

The solution - after talking to the freindly guys at carphone warehouse was to sign up with the free uk isp UK Online, calls at local rate (but come out of talk plan free minutes) so not too bad.

After hearing about all the cool things like wireless email & surfing the web I have finally got myself a Nokia 8210.

Ive followed the instructions posted by LMidnight (much appreciated) and am able to make a connection but get an authentication error (0x1233).

Could anyone shed some light on what the error message means? Or where to look for the answer?

BTW. My ISP is NTL and im Uk based if that makes a difference.
