I got the activelink/deluxe combo a few months ago. Skytel wants like $30 for the service. Anyone use it that could maybe comment on it. Can I pop my email? Can I use AIM Messenger? Thanks in advance.

The @ctivelink module is a pager..not a wireless modem like the Omnisky. It certainly does not worth $30/month for serv ice. Check the VisorCentral review in the Product/Review Section.

I bought an @ctivelink/Skytel module on Ebay a while back, but never used it because I found the service was too expensive. I recently got a VisorPhone (for free!) and my VoiceStream plan is $30/ month. I can surf the web, check my email, AND use it as a phone. Scads better than any other wireless modem deal.

I guess the @ctivelinks are still popular, though. I re-sold mine on ebay!
