If I wanted to sell my visorphone...

I want to get rid of my visorphone and get a new phone. If I buy one from voicestream and put the SIM Card that is in my Visorphone, into the new phone. And put the one that is in the new phone in the visorphone, can I sell the visorphone? Will someone be able to use it if the sim card is brand new?

This is the beauty of GSM technology! If you buy a new phone from voicestream, it will not come with a new SIM or a SIM at all (most new gsm phones do not come with SIMs unless they have been subsedized by the company)

Once you get your new phone, you can take your sim out of your VP and place it in your phone...provided that the phone is catered for voicestream or is "unlocked". Unlocked means the phone can be used with ANY SIM card, not just voicestream sims.

You can sell the VP w/o a SIM because that's what most people do. What people buy another phone they usually have their own sim that they'd like to place inside.
