Hot sync not working with LG510 cell phone

I am trying to do a modem hot sync with a Visor Deluxe connected to my LG510 cell phone with a Supplynet cable. The Visor connects to the desk top and goes to the stage where in the desk top hotsync window it says "determining handheld configuration" (or something close to that) and on the Visor it says "identifying user".

It sits there and then an error message appears on the Visor saying the "connection was terminated" or something like that.

The modem hot sync works fine with a wired modem. Support at Supplynet doesn't know why it doesn't work.

Anyone got any ideas?
