Infrared
Does anyone know how far the infrared port can beam information. I know that there is a program--I think it is called Cha Cha that allows you to communicate with another palm 4 feet away. I do not know whether there is another program that will go further than 4 feet? Thanks.
kind of pushing it...
Based on my experience, 4 feet is probably the very very max that you can reliably beam info to and from the PDA.
Remember, the infrared beam spreads out as it travels via the air so by the time it gets to its destination, there may be garbles and other assorted annoyances.
I believe there are third-party devices or apps that boost the strength of your IR Port.
Do you know where I could get those third party applications?
