Xircomm Springport Modem?

Is the Xircomm Springport Modem being discontinued? I am trying to purchase one for my visor (I like the price and the features) but everywhere I look it is backordered or not in stock anymore.

Out of my two suppliers that have provided me with the Xircom modems in the past, one says it is discontinued, and the other reports it as "Backordered". I was able to get one in the other day from Texas, but I still have two backordered. I think that when Intel bought Xircom, they scrapped this modem, and any other Sprinboard products that were in the pipeline.
I like my Xircom, although it sucks batteries dry in no time.

If you can't find one on line, email me and I will try to locate one more for you.

I got one for my husband for Christmas from Walmart. It's probably a long shot, but if you have one in your area, they might have it. Hope this helps
