ThinModem+ and Microsoft Exchange
Hello all:
My office uses Microsoft Exchange as for e-mail services. Thus there is no POP or STMP address. I have Eudora Mail and am wondering how I could access my work e-mail via my VDx? Is it impossible to do so? I can HotSync and get my emails that way but it does take a long time since the whole system syncs!
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Your best bet is to work with your IT department and see if you can convince them to set up an Exchange<->POP server. This may benefit all sorts of people in your company who want to use other e-mail clients in Linux, etc.
Your second-best bet is to convince your IT departmenr to add a web-based Exchange gateway to its exchange server. With this method you could at least browse your emails with a Palm Web browser (not a recommended solution).
