Comments...Complaints...Questions...

Couple things, since I am bored:

What happened to the "Guides" Section? You say you are putting 'real' guides there, but that message has been up there for a while! It is the same with a few different parts of the website!

Out of Curiosity, what makes up the Visor Central Company? is there paid staff, or just a bunch of volunteers? Where is the server, and how much memory does this huge website take up? Who were the 'founders,' and how many are still around today?

Overall though, I love this website and the forums are great! Good Job, VC!

VisorCentral is actually run by Peracto (located in sunny Florida) and was initially founded by marcus. He and Kenny run the site.

The moderators are all volunteers (as far as I know ). Contributors (articles, reviews, etc) a generally compensated in some fashion (not always financially).

I believe all of the founders are still around...

Guides section. This winter we have been in a crunch for writers, so items like guides have not been written . It'll get done - hopefully. Lets see what this summer brings.

Mark covered the who owns VC question, I think we have 2 gig's of RAM on our DB server, though I might be confused. We have two servers, one for web, one for the database. Are servers are located onsite in Gainsville. I think the last founder neede3d to be known is James Hromadka. He really helped bring this site up in editorial content and all. GO JAMES! than the original mods, mark, hoser, toolkit, and more. than me!

I don't quite follow what you're saying there ("neede3d to be known ..."). But speaking of James, I don't think I've seen a post or article from him in a while. Is he still around? I've always found his pieces well-written and useful.

Didn't James do the Treo Review a week or two ago?

Arrow Treo is future

The Treo is future thing is also from james. In fact, most of the articles and reviews are written by James.

He still lurks in the shadows... He did recently review the Treo and wrote The Future is Treo article. He's been busy working on his MBA so he doesn't have quite as much time as he used to.

So basically - other people do the hard work on the website while he gets all the new toys and goodies...

...can I have his job?!
