James,

Good work on your comparison writeup. I like a site that not only draws fans (and fanatics), but also those inclined with some skills in the verbal arts.

I would like to draw out a few details from your piece to add to the discussion:

Processor
In this section you state "The two organizers should be comparable in speed, with the Palm Vx perhaps a little faster."

To me this is not a comparison but conjecture. I know the difficulty at this time to provide real world analysis of the two devices, but to say the Palm Vx will "perhaps" be a little faster may or may not be accurate, based on the lack of available data.

Battery
No mention of using rechargables with the Visor? Yes, this is not a standard component, but it's strange to ignore this option, and a price range for them could be taken into account to handle the full cost examination between the two machines.

BTW, good end note in your conclusion on why "power users" might find the Visor an appealing PDA choice over the Palm V.

Zippy,

Thanks for your comments. You are right about the Processor comments being more opinionated. I have seen comments that the benchmark program had the Visor at 158%. I have not seen any yet on the Palm Vx (anyone have one and want to run the test?).

When I was discussing batteries, I was going from the standpoint that some believe internal rechargeables could be bad, and being able to replace your batteries anytime could be benneficial. To be honest, I did not consider the fact that rechargeables could be used on the Visor. I will remember that point in future comparisons.

Thanks again for your comments.
