Nokia 3360

I just got a nokia 3360 phone from CIngular, with the infrared sending capabilities.

I was wondering if there is any software for the Visor that can do the following

1) Send all my address book contacts to the phone, with a separate entry for each phone number (mobile, home, work, etc)

2) Do I need special software to use the phone as a modem?

3) Any other cool IR software out there that could be used?

1) BeamMobile will send all of your contacts to your phone through the IR - http://look.pda.tucows.com/palm/preview/221152.html

2) Depending on which Visor you own and which version of Palm OS you're using you may need to download a few patches and IR enhancements all of which are available from Handspring. I also needed to purchase a copy of IRLink from http://www.iscomplete.com

3) Many interesting IR programs available from TUCOWS - http://look.pda.tucows.com/palm/infrared95.html

I've got my 3360 linked to my Visor through infared and am having no trouble accessing the internet and email.

GSMtool will allow you to effectively synchronize your Nokia and Palm phonebooks, settings rules for how the names on the Visor are translated into names on the phone.

The US site, www.gsmtool.com, appears to be down; but you should be able to find the software elsewhere, on the usual sites, or failing that, try www.gsmtool.de
